Trip to INA Language Exchange and San Jose

Today we visited a great group of Costa Ricans who are learning English as part of an employment program. We participated in cultural discussions and learned a great deal from them!

San Jose was a busy place as we enjoyed lunch in the big city, shopping at the marcado and a very long ride home in traffic!

Tomorrow we are off to Volcano Poas!

  2. I learned so much from the high school students. Working with them in small groups really helped me to learn and exchange our stories with each other. My Spanish is getting a little better and I no longer feel intimidated when speaking to someone!

  3. The amazing thing us that many other countries learn English as a second language and Americans only learn English. These students were practicing their English in many different conversations with us. The conversations we had were amazing! We talked about our cultures and the many similarities and differences.
